What is self storage?
Self storage means renting a lockable unit for your own things. You use it yourself, whenever you want – at Schoweczki 24 hours a day, and you can drive right up to the door.
Can I see the units before renting?
Yes. Call us and we will meet you on site and help you choose a size. You can also look at photos of the units and the site in the gallery.
How long can I rent a unit for?
At least one month. The agreement is open-ended and you can end it with one month’s notice, effective at the end of a calendar month.
Do I pay a deposit?
No. You only pay the monthly rent for the unit.
How do I get onto the site?
Once your booking is paid, you get access: you open the gate in the app or with a code at the entrance. You can drive in 24 hours a day.
Do I need my own padlock?
Yes. We do not sell padlocks – you lock the unit with your own, so you are the only one with a key.
Is there electricity in the unit?
No. The units have no power supply, which reduces the risk of fire across the whole site.
Can I store goods on pallets?
Yes. The units take euro pallets and you park right by the door, so unloading is quick.
What am I not allowed to store?
Anything illegal, toxic or flammable materials, chemicals, waste, perishable food or animals.
Are my things insured?
The site has third-party liability insurance. When booking, you can buy an optional policy for your belongings, matched to their value.
Is the booking system in English?
Yes, you can book and pay online in English or Polish. The rental agreement and terms (OWU) are in Polish – if anything is unclear, call or e-mail us before you book.
